On March 11, 2015, Ou Jieying, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Weber Group, Zhang Yumin, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Weber New Energy Company, and a delegation of five people had a brief meeting with the General Manager of Wagner Spray Equipment China and the Director of the Technical Department of the German headquarters.

At the beginning of its establishment in 1999, Weber Company began to introduce Wagner spraying equipment from Germany and had a friendly cooperation with Wagner Company for more than ten years. In this meeting, both sides introduced the basic situation of their respective enterprise development and the progress of related projects. Wagner Equipment Company was founded in 1947 and headquartered in Markdorf, Germany. It is a manufacturer of powder and paint spraying equipment and established a Shanghai branch in 1998 with the aim of providing customers with satisfactory localized services. Guangdong Weber Group currently has three major production bases in Shunde Gaoli, Shunde Dafuji, and Anhui Ma'anshan, with an annual production capacity of over 3 million units. The Anhui Ma'anshan production base started construction in August 2014, with a planned production capacity of over 3 million units, including electric water heaters and new energy equipment. At that time, it will form an industrial layout of one south and one north, further strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises and brands.
