On May 31, 2024, the final and award ceremony of the Chen Zhi Scholarship Fund "Weber Cup" Short Video Creation Competition of the 23rd College Student Culture and Art Festival of Shunde Vocational and Technical College was held grandly at the college. Ou Jieying, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Weber Group, Liu Zhenggen, Managing Director of Guangdong Weber Home Appliances, leaders and student representatives from Shunde Vocational and Technical College Youth League Committee, Student Union, Intelligent Manufacturing College, etc. attended the event.


The competition was officially launched in March this year, divided into two stages: online preliminary display and offline final evaluation. A total of 1 gold award, 3 silver awards, 5 bronze awards, 1 most influential award, 1 best advertising award, and 20 Weber influencer awards were set up. The winning teams and individuals can receive a total of over 25000 yuan in prize money and Weber home appliances as rewards.


The competition attracted 75 teams and individuals to participate, showcasing different categories of products from Weber Home Appliances from different perspectives, reflecting the application of intelligent manufacturing technology in daily life. Finally, on May 31st, based on the comprehensive performance of the theme connotation, video creativity, production technology, and dissemination influence of the works, 31 outstanding works were selected and awarded through the wonderful speeches of the on-site contestants and the scoring of the judges.
